Having just recently bid farewell to gruelling world tours and sell out stadium gigs ... This female double act have decided to calm things down a little and return to a more mellow style of entertaining. Gone are the luxury trailers, the Las Vegas residencies and celebrity parties. So last season! Smith-Jenkins are back with their simple but scintillating acoustic act. Expect some fine harmonies and a variety of song styles, from jazz to country and blues to pop! Regrettably, the fire eating and limbo dancing element of the act has had to be dropped, due to health and safety regulations! Smith-Jenkins are very much looking forward to appearing at OakFest 2018 Who needs fire and limbo anyway!

Paul and Martin, a couple of 'bus pass carrying old blokes', first met many years ago.

Realising they had similar musical tastes and an interest in playing acoustic guitar, they took the plunge to start performing together some 11 years ago, initially at open-mic nights in local pubs.

Paul and Martin have a wide repertoire of songs complimented with finger-picking guitar playing and close-harmony vocals. Martin also plays banjo and bouzouki.

Georgie Bird has been making waves in and around the capital for some time, having supported the likes of Wretch 32 , The Feeling, Toploader and Toyah Wilcox on the live circuit, along with appearances on BBC Introducing Bucks, Beds and Herts, Towersey Festival, The Troubadour & The Bedford at Balham.

In 2015 Georgie began working with esteemed producer / songwriter Paul Stanborough (Kelis, Kylie Minogue, Tinie Tempah, The Wanted), and has just released her debut singles ‘Walls’, 'Timber' and 'Rush' which has played on BBC Introducing Bucks Herts and Beds.

Vibe, (Tanya, Kev, Phil and Guy) have played together for quite some time now.

Set lists have evolved over the years from mainly funk/soul and now includes rock, new, maybe a little country, but of course with a slightly different “Vibe”.

Mainly played to make everyone smile and hopefully dance 🙂

The Ponderosa are Rod Craig (mandolin/vocals), Mat Davies (bass), Kate Saunders (fiddle/vocals), Simon Stafford (vocals/guitar), and Colin Tester (percussion).

Hailing from the gently rolling hills and river valleys of Oxfordshire, they play an infectious blend of the familiar, the unfashionable and obscure: traditional and contemporary acoustic music and Americana played with passion and energy, by turns sublime and rabble-rousing.

“Worryingly good” Johnnie Littler
